Dr Daniel Kluver

Dr Daniel Kluver is a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care. He specialises in general adult psychiatry, with a particular focus on helping individuals navigate complex mental health challenges. Dr Kluver is deeply committed to understanding each patient's unique story, adopting a holistic approach that recognises the intricate interplay of biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors. By working collaboratively with those in his care, he aims to develop tailored treatment plans that foster long-term recovery and overall well-being.

Throughout his career, Dr Kluver has gained extensive experience across a diverse range of psychiatric settings. He has worked within the public health sector on the Gold Coast, gaining valuable expertise in various subspecialty areas. His clinical experience spans specialist services for eating disorders, mood disorders, early psychosis, and personality disorders. In his private practice, he focuses on managing conditions such as anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and psychotic disorders, while also utilising advanced interventions like neurostimulation.

Dr Kluver completed his medical training and psychiatric specialist training locally on the Gold Coast. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Bachelor of Biotechnology with Honours (BBiotech (Hons)), alongside a Certificate of Affective Neuroscience. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). Dedicated to the advancement of his field, Dr Kluver also actively contributes to the education of the next generation of medical professionals by engaging medical students and psychiatric trainees in their mental health training.
