Dr. Dana Robaei

Dr. Dana Robaei is a highly qualified and compassionate Consultant Ophthalmologist and Ophthalmic Surgeon who specialises in comprehensive eye care. With a primary focus on restoring and preserving patient vision, she provides expert medical and surgical management for a wide range of ocular conditions. Dr. Robaei is particularly renowned for her expertise in complex cataract surgery, corneal diseases, and corneal transplantation. Her patient-centred approach ensures that every individual receives a personalised treatment plan tailored to their unique visual needs and lifestyle goals.

Dr. Robaei completed her undergraduate medical degree with Honours at the University of New South Wales, where she also obtained a Master of Public Health. She subsequently earned a PhD in Ophthalmology from the University of Sydney. Her specialist training in Ophthalmology was completed at a major tertiary eye hospital in Sydney, where she also undertook advanced fellowship training in medical retina. To further refine her surgical skills, Dr. Robaei completed a second prestigious subspeciality fellowship in complex cataract and corneal surgery at a world-renowned eye hospital in London. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2012.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Robaei is dedicated to advancing the field of Ophthalmology through research and education. She has served as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at a major public hospital, where she was actively involved in training future eye specialists. Dr. Robaei is a widely published author, having contributed numerous academic papers to international ophthalmic literature and authored a book on childhood visual impairment. She also dedicates her time to humanitarian initiatives, volunteering her surgical expertise to help underserved communities.
