About Dr Cyril Tsan
I am an experienced Breast and Endocrine Surgeon, specializing in the management of benign and malignant breast, thyroid, and parathyroid conditions (excluding cosmetic breast surgery).
With over 100 breast surgeries and 100 thyroid/parathyroid procedures performed annually, I provide high-volume, expert surgical care. I have privileges at both private and public hospitals, ensuring access to multidisciplinary team (MDT) management for breast and thyroid cancer patients. I collaborate closely with plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, endocrinologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
In my practice, I utilize in-office ultrasound for the assessment of breast, thyroid, and parathyroid conditions, as well as for ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies when required.
i have public appointments at Monash Breast Unit, Casey General Surgical Unit, and Warragul Hospital, and have access to private hospital including Cabrini Malvern, Mulgrave Priate Hospital and St John of God, Berwick.
I am also an active member of several professional bodies, including the Australasian Society of Breast Diseases, Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (founding member), Australian Endocrine Surgeons and International Association of endocrine surgeons, the Australian Chinese Medical Association, and General Surgeons Australia.
