Dr Clinton White

Dr Clinton White is a highly dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive, compassionate care to adult patients. He specialises in the assessment and management of a wide range of mental health conditions, with a particular focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Dr White is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care, ensuring that each individual receives a tailored treatment plan designed to support their unique mental health journey and overall well-being.

In addition to general adult psychiatry, Dr White has subspecialised expertise in consultation-liaison psychiatry, which focuses on the complex interface between physical illness and mental health. His clinical interests also extend to emergency psychiatry and the management of delirium, particularly in post-transplant patients. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr White is actively involved in medical education, sharing his knowledge and expertise by teaching medical students at the university level.

Dr White completed his medical degree, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Tasmania. He went on to complete his specialist psychiatric training across several major hospitals, culminating in a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He also undertook advanced, subspecialised training in consultation-liaison psychiatry to further refine his skills in managing the psychiatric needs of medically ill patients.
