Dr Clare Ballingall

Dr Clare Ballingall is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Throughout her career, Dr Ballingall has developed a diverse range of clinical interests within general practice. She is particularly passionate about skin cancer medicine, focusing on the early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancers and related conditions. In addition to her expertise in skin health, she provides comprehensive services in chronic disease management, mental health care, men's health, and seniors' health. Her practice also encompasses travel medicine, travel vaccinations, and weight management, reflecting her holistic approach to family medicine.

Dr Ballingall obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Dundee in Scotland, graduating in 1995. She completed her postgraduate general practice training in Scotland, obtaining certification from the Joint Committee on Postgraduate Training for General Practice. After relocating to Australia, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Committed to continuous professional development, she has also earned a Professional Certificate and an Advanced Certificate in both Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy. Demonstrating her leadership within the medical community, Dr Ballingall has previously served as the Chair of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Tasmania.
