Dr Ciara Flynn

Dr Ciara Flynn is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, working closely with individuals and families to support their long-term health and well-being. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Flynn focuses on delivering personalised medical care that addresses both immediate health concerns and preventative health strategies.

With a strong focus on family medicine, Dr Flynn has developed key clinical interests in Women's Health and preventative medicine. She provides expert guidance on menopause therapy and runs a dedicated pregnancy advisory service. As an accredited provider for a shared antenatal care programme, she supports expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journey. Additionally, Dr Flynn offers a range of contraception options, including the fitting and removal of hormonal implants and intrauterine devices (IUDs). Her diverse clinical background also includes training in emergency medicine, medicine for the elderly, paediatrics, psychiatry, and infectious diseases.

Dr Flynn obtained her primary medical degrees, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO), alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (BScMed), from University College Cork, Ireland, graduating in 2008. Following her initial training and internship, she pursued further postgraduate training in various medical specialties. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice care and ongoing professional development.
