Dr Christopher Fong

Dr Christopher Fong is a highly qualified Consultant Rheumatologist and Geriatrician who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing complex musculoskeletal and age-related conditions. With a clinical focus on improving mobility and quality of life, he specialises in the non-surgical management of rheumatic diseases, joint disorders, and inflammatory conditions. Dr Fong is dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, helping individuals manage chronic pain and regain physical function through tailored treatment plans.

His extensive clinical interests encompass a wide range of rheumatological and geriatric conditions. Dr Fong has particular expertise in managing inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. He also focuses on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Additionally, he provides specialised care in orthogeriatrics, perioperative medicine, and targeted interventions such as epidural procedures for sciatica and spinal cord stenosis.

Dr Fong completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 1988. He subsequently obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2006.
