Dr Chetan Pandit

Dr. Chetan Pandit is a highly regarded Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physician based at the Woolcock Clinic and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where he leads the fellowship program in Respiratory Medicine.

After completing his fellowship in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Dr. Pandit has built an extensive career combining clinical care, teaching, and research. He serves as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at The University of Sydney and collaborates on multidisciplinary research projects across various institutions. His work has been widely published in peer-reviewed medical journals.

Dr. Pandit specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders in children. His clinical interests include difficult-to-control asthma, persistent cough, pneumonia, and complex airway disorders. In addition, he provides expert care in Paediatric Sleep Medicine, managing children with snoring, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and childhood parasomnias. He often performs pre-surgical assessments for children undergoing adeno-tonsillectomy to determine the presence and severity of OSA.
