Dr Chee Wun Phang

Dr Chee Wun Phang is a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive and compassionate mental health care to adult and older adult patients. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr Phang focuses on delivering evidence-based treatments tailored to each individual's unique needs. He is dedicated to supporting patients through their mental health journeys, helping them manage complex conditions and achieve long-term wellbeing.

Throughout his career, Dr Phang has developed a broad range of clinical interests. He specialises in the assessment and management of mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, as well as anxiety disorders. His expertise also extends to more complex psychiatric conditions such as psychosis, schizophrenia, and brain injuries. Additionally, Dr Phang provides specialised care in addiction psychiatry and perinatal psychiatry, offering supportive psychotherapy to help patients navigate challenging life transitions and mental health struggles.

Dr Phang completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Melbourne, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc). He then undertook his postgraduate psychiatry training in Sydney. Dr Phang is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and holds an advanced Certificate in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
