Dr Charles Armstrong

Dr Charles Armstrong is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 23 years of international clinical experience across the UK, Scotland, New Zealand, and Australia.

Dr Armstrong trained at the University of Leicester Medical School and has since developed experience in both obstetric and gynaecological practice across multiple healthcare systems. His career reflects a strong background as a generalist in women’s health, with expertise in routine and complex care.

He provides obstetric services at St John of God Subiaco Hospital, offering personalised pregnancy care from early gestation through to delivery. His practice includes support for natural birth, complex vaginal delivery, and caesarean section, with a focus on continuity of care and patient safety.

In addition, Dr Armstrong provides a full range of gynaecological services at Osborne Park Hospital. His clinical interests include fertility assessment, early pregnancy complications, endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, prolapse, and incontinence. He utilises both minimally invasive (keyhole) and traditional surgical techniques where appropriate.
