Dr Casey Nissen

Dr Casey Nissen is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Born in Queensland, she is deeply committed to supporting the health and well-being of her community. Dr Nissen enjoys all aspects of general medicine, offering a welcoming and reassuring environment where patients of all ages can receive personalised healthcare tailored to their unique needs.

Before transitioning into community-based care, Dr Nissen gained valuable clinical experience working across various regional hospitals. During this time, she developed a broad clinical foundation by working in diverse medical specialities, including paediatrics, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), palliative care, geriatric orthopaedics, cardiology, and emergency medicine. Her professional journey has also included providing essential medical services in various clinics across Australia, including remote Indigenous health services, which has further enriched her clinical expertise and cultural awareness.

Dr Nissen graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013, earning dual degrees with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science. Committed to continuous professional development, she has also completed a Diploma in Child Health in Sydney and holds a Professional Certificate in Dermoscopy, allowing her to offer specialised insights into paediatric care and skin health.
