Dr Casey Chi Hin Yu

Dr Casey Chi Hin Yu is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple medical disciplines, Dr Yu is committed to supporting patients of all ages and backgrounds. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that individuals feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journeys, whether they require routine check-ups or complex health management.

Dr Yu completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University, qualifying in 2013. Demonstrating a strong commitment to ongoing professional excellence, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023. To further enhance his clinical capabilities, Dr Yu has completed the Sydney Child Health Programme and undertaken advanced dermoscopy training through the Skin Cancer Institute.

Prior to focusing on general practice, Dr Yu gained extensive experience as a Hospital Medical Officer, working across diverse fields including Emergency Medicine, Aged Care, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and various surgical specialties. In addition to his role as a General Practitioner, he serves as a Surgical Assistant in General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. This robust surgical background complements his clinical interests in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy, and minor procedures. Dr Yu is also highly skilled in travel medicine, obesity management, chronic disease management, and preventative healthcare.
