Dr Carmel Martin

Dr Carmel Martin is a highly qualified and dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals of all ages. With extensive international experience in clinical practice, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of her patients through a holistic and compassionate approach. Her clinical focus spans a wide range of primary care services, ensuring that every patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Martin specialises in chronic disease management, working closely with patients to navigate complex, long-term health conditions and improve their overall quality of life. Her areas of clinical interest also include mental health, seniors' health services, and women's health. Dr Martin completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland. Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and public health, she went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Community Medicine from the London School of Hygiene at the University of London, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology and Population Health from the Australian National University. She holds professional memberships as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), and a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (FAFPHM).
