Dr Williams completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2015. During his medical studies, he spent his final years training at a regional clinical school, which fostered his passion for community-focused medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his high standards of clinical competence and dedication to ongoing professional development.

Following his graduation, Dr Williams gained extensive clinical experience working across various regional and community hospitals. He subsequently completed his specialised General Practice training, further refining his skills in primary care. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Williams is actively involved in medical education, serving as a General Practitioner Academic and contributing to the training of future medical students.
