Dr Bindiya Sethi

Dr Bindiya Sethi is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on public health and preventative medicine, she delivers compassionate healthcare tailored to the unique needs of her patients. Dr Sethi prioritises building trusting relationships with those under her care, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their health journeys. Her clinical approach combines evidence-based medical practices with a reassuring and empathetic manner.

Dr Sethi completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2001. Following her initial medical training, she undertook extensive postgraduate studies, obtaining a Diploma in Child Health from a leading paediatric hospital in Sydney. She also holds a certificate in Health Economics and Policy from the London School of Economics. Dr Sethi completed her specialist General Practice training in Victoria and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Demonstrating her commitment to the medical profession, she serves as a Council Member and Deputy Chair of the RACGP Victoria Faculty.

In her clinical practice, Dr Sethi has developed a strong focus on women's and children's health. She is highly proficient in providing comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care, including shared maternity care. Her expertise extends to family planning and contraception, where she is qualified to perform and supervise intrauterine device (IUD) and Implanon insertions and removals. Additionally, Dr Sethi provides support for chronic disease management, sexual health screenings, and the management of conditions such as pelvic pain, endometriosis, menopause, and perimenopause.
