Dr Bernard Schick

Dr Bernard Schick is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hand and wrist surgery. With a patient-centred approach, he is dedicated to restoring function and relieving pain for individuals experiencing a wide range of upper limb conditions. Dr Schick has a particular clinical interest in managing bone and soft tissue trauma to the hand, including complex wrist injuries. He performs a comprehensive range of reconstructive hand surgeries, utilising advanced techniques to help patients return to their daily activities, work, and sporting pursuits as safely and quickly as possible.

In his clinical practice, Dr Schick employs state-of-the-art surgical methods to achieve optimal patient outcomes. He is highly trained in microsurgery, small joint replacement, and wrist arthroscopy. For patients suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, he performs endoscopic carpal tunnel release using a single-portal technique, which offers the significant advantage of avoiding incisions on the palm.
