Dr Benjamin Lewis is a compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive healthcare to regional communities. Having grown up in Korumburra, he has a strong personal connection to the Gippsland region and a profound appreciation for the unique rewards of rural generalism. Dr Lewis is passionate about delivering a broad spectrum of medical services, ensuring that patients in regional areas receive high-quality, accessible care close to home.

Dr Lewis has expanded his medical expertise through targeted postgraduate studies. He holds a diploma in obstetrics as well as a diploma in paediatrics, which equip him with specialised skills in maternal, newborn, and child health. Additionally, he has completed advanced training in GP anaesthetics, allowing him to provide vital anaesthetic services within regional healthcare settings.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Lewis is highly active in community advocacy and environmental health. He is particularly passionate about the intersection of environmental sustainability and public health, volunteering his time to support initiatives that promote cleaner energy and healthier communities.
