Dr Sonali Sooveere

Dr Sonali Sooveere is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, holistic, and patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, she supports patients of all ages through various stages of their health journeys. Dr Sooveere believes in building strong, trust-based relationships with her patients, ensuring that their individual healthcare needs and preferences are always prioritised.

In her clinical practice, Dr Sooveere has developed a diverse range of medical interests. She is highly skilled in women's health, offering specialised services such as Mirena and Implanon insertions and removals. Additionally, she has a strong focus on preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and mental health support. Her expertise also extends to skin cancer medicine, where she regularly performs comprehensive skin checks and skin cancer excisions, alongside providing dedicated care in paediatrics.

Dr Sooveere obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completed her medical internship in Hamilton, New Zealand, in 2011. She subsequently undertook her specialist General Practice training in Albury, New South Wales, which she completed in 2016. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing professional development in family medicine.
