Dr Ashraf Al-Asaly

Dr. Ashraf Al-Asaly is a highly experienced General Practitioner with an academic and clinical background. He graduated in 1999 and has been practising as a General Practitioner since 2002. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge is reflected in his 10 years of medical research at the University of Queensland's School of Medicine in Brisbane, where he also earned his PhD in the field of Hypertension in 2011. Dr. Ashraf has published 32 peer-reviewed articles in leading international and national scientific journals and has presented his work at numerous conferences worldwide.

Dr. Ashraf’s clinical expertise spans a broad range of healthcare services, including Hypertension management, Cardiovascular Risk Assessment, Men’s Health, Children’s Health, Antenatal and Post-natal Care, mental health issues such as Depression and Anxiety, Travel Vaccinations, Asthma Care, and comprehensive Family Care. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Ashraf has received several prestigious awards, including the Queensland Hypertension Association's Prize for Excellence in Hypertension Research in 2012 and the Young Investigator Travel Award from the International Society of Hypertension. He was also a nominee for the Alberto Ferrari Prize at the 25th European Meeting on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Protection in Milan. Additionally, he was a finalist for the Young Investigator Award at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia on multiple occasions.

Dr. Ashraf is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, a Member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, and a Member of the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia. His exceptional combination of clinical practice, research, and teaching has made him a trusted and respected figure in his field.
