Dr Anthony Burneikis

Dr Anthony Burneikis is a leading Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in elbow, shoulder and knee surgery. He completed his medical degree with honours at the University of New South Wales in Sydney and went on to undertake orthopaedic training through the Australian Orthopaedic Training Program in Sydney. Following completion of his training, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2002.

In 2003, Dr Burneikis undertook post-fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London as the Commonwealth Fellow, where he gained advanced subspecialty expertise in shoulder and knee surgery. His training includes both arthroscopic (keyhole) and arthroplasty (joint replacement) procedures of the shoulder and knee, as well as techniques such as autologous cartilage grafting.

On returning to Australia in 2004, Dr Burneikis brought his experience to the Central Coast, where he remains committed to serving the local community. He welcomes both public and private patients and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused orthopaedic care tailored to individual needs.
