Dr Annette Barnett

Dr Annette Barnett is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She believes in building strong, collaborative relationships with her patients, supporting and guiding them throughout their individual health journeys. With a warm and reassuring approach, Dr Barnett focuses on delivering tailored medical care that addresses the unique needs of every individual and family she treats.

Dr Barnett completed her medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working across various hospitals in the south-eastern region of Melbourne. She then pursued specialist General Practice training in regional Victoria, culminating in her achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Barnett enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has developed particular clinical interests in women's health, including the termination of early pregnancy, as well as children's health and chronic disease management. Additionally, she is highly focused on preventative healthcare and has a keen interest in dermatology, helping patients manage and maintain their skin health.
