Dr Anne Selikowitz

Dr Anne Selikowitz is a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who specialises in assessing and treating young people experiencing a range of social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. She is passionate about delivering holistic, individualised, and collaborative care to children, adolescents, and their families, helping them to achieve their full potential. Her clinical approach is highly collaborative, ensuring that families are actively involved in the therapeutic process to support the young person's mental health journey.

Throughout her career, Dr Selikowitz has gained extensive experience across diverse clinical settings. She has managed psychiatric inpatients and provided consultation services within a major children's hospital, and has supported young people in community child and adolescent mental health services. Additionally, she has worked within a specialist inpatient unit for youth presenting with complex psychiatric conditions, as well as a dedicated toddler clinic offering targeted interventions for families navigating early childhood behavioural difficulties.

Dr Selikowitz completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney in 2013, having previously graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) with First Class Honours and a University Medal in 2009. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2022, and obtained her Advanced Training Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the same year. Her academic and clinical training underpins her commitment to evidence-based, compassionate psychiatric care.
