Dr Andrew Wines

Dr Andrew Wines is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon specialising in arthroscopic, minimally invasive, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle in both adults and children. He practices at Sydney Adventist Hospital and the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, where he is recognised for his expertise in managing a broad range of foot and ankle conditions.

Dr Wines graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1994. After completing specialist orthopaedic training, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics) in 2002. He subsequently undertook advanced subspecialty training in Dublin, Bristol, and Oxford, gaining extensive international experience in the field.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Wines is the Director of the Sydney Foot and Ankle Fellowship, where he is actively involved in training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. He has authored numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles and is a sought-after speaker at both national and international conferences.

His areas of special interest include arthroscopic and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, reconstructive foot and ankle procedures, and the surgical management of foot and ankle trauma.
