A/Prof Andrew Roy

Associate Professor Andrew Roy is a Senior Interventional Cardiologist and TAVI Operator based in Sydney, Australia. He holds Specialist Registration in Cardiology with AHPRA (MED0002178659).

He graduated with honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2002 (MB BCh BAO) and achieved MRCPI in 2005. He completed a research Doctor of Medicine (MD) in cardiorenal biomarkers at University College Dublin. He subsequently undertook subspecialty fellowships in interventional cardiology at Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris Sud, as well as valvular heart disease interventions and cardiac CT at St Thomas' Hospital, London. He holds Fellowships from the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI), and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

His clinical practice focuses on complex percutaneous coronary interventions, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), valvular heart disease management, peripheral artery interventions, and cardiac CT imaging. He practices at St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney, St Vincent's Clinic, Northern Beaches Hospital, and Shore Cardiology.

He serves as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame Australia, Associate Editor for the European Heart Journal – Case Reports, and a faculty member for EuroPCR/PCR London Valves.
