Dr Amelia Moane

Dr Amelia Moane is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who specialises in the detection, management, and treatment of skin cancer. With a career focused on skin health, she provides comprehensive care to patients seeking thorough skin assessments and preventative advice. Dr Moane is passionate about early detection, particularly regarding melanoma and other skin malignancies, ensuring her patients receive timely and reassuring care.

Dr Moane completed her medical education at the University of Tasmania, where she graduated with honours, obtaining her Bachelor of Medical Science and her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1996. She went on to achieve her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002. Committed to advancing her clinical skills, she undertook further specialised training in dermoscopy, skin cancer medicine, and surgery in 2003. She is also an active member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

In her clinical practice, Dr Moane offers a wide range of services, including full-body skin cancer checks, mole scanning, and spot checks.
