Ms Amanda Gordon

Ms Amanda Gordon is an endorsed clinical and health psychologist with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals, couples and families with a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges. She takes a practical approach to psychological care, helping clients understand their experiences, develop coping strategies and address difficulties affecting their everyday lives.

Ms Gordon works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and significant life changes. Her areas of expertise include family conflict, separation, panic and phobic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, childhood trauma, addictions and anger management. She also supports clients with assertiveness, self-esteem and challenges in their personal and professional relationships.

In addition to her clinical work, Ms Gordon has extensive experience in workplace psychology, including employee wellbeing, workplace relationships and team building. She draws on a variety of practical psychological approaches to help people understand challenges, strengthen their problem-solving skills and manage difficulties in their personal and working lives.

Ms Gordon is a former President of the Australian Psychological Society, having served two consecutive terms. She also contributes psychological commentary to the media, sharing insights into contemporary issues and the ways psychological principles relate to everyday experiences.
