Dr Almir Tanovic

Dr Almir Tanovic is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Tanovic focuses on delivering evidence-based assessments and personalised treatment plans to support the long-term well-being of individuals and families.

Dr Tanovic obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree overseas in 2001. Prior to relocating to Australia in 2007, he gained valuable clinical experience working in hospital settings as a Registrar in cardiology and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) medicine. He achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. Committed to continuous professional development, he has also undertaken extensive postgraduate training in allergy and immunology, including pursuing a Master in Allergy Diseases to further enhance his clinical expertise.

Throughout his career, Dr Tanovic has developed a broad range of clinical interests within General Practice. He has a strong clinical focus on allergy and immunology, providing comprehensive management for conditions such as food allergies, allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema, and drug hypersensitivity. Additionally, his diverse medical background enables him to support patients across various areas, including cardiology, rheumatology, men's health, women's health, mental health, and emergency medicine.
