Dr Alison Scandrett

Dr Alison Scandrett is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Throughout her career, she has established a reputation for delivering reassuring and high-quality medical services to individuals and families. Dr Scandrett is committed to supporting her patients through all stages of life, offering a holistic approach to health and well-being.

Dr Scandrett completed her medical degree at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working as a Registrar at regional hospitals in New Zealand. After relocating to Brisbane, she dedicated a portion of her career to caring for severely intellectually disabled children and young adults, which deepened her clinical expertise in managing complex care needs.

Dr Scandrett has worked extensively in General Practice across various locations in Queensland, including Redbank Plains and Ipswich, where she successfully managed her own practice. She later transitioned to community-based family medicine in Mount Ommaney, where she continues to support patients with her wealth of clinical knowledge. Outside of her professional life, Dr Scandrett enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks on the beach, playing social tennis, and travelling.
