Dr Alana Bruce

Dr Alana Bruce is a rheumatologist. They studied medicine at the University of Melbourne. Dr Bruce feels fortunate to be able to care for people with autoimmune rheumatic disease. They have a particular interest in the interplay between rheumatic disease and cancer. Dr Bruce completed a Master of Research at Macquarie University, investigating rheumatic toxicities associated with cancer immunotherapy in patients with advanced melanoma. Dr Bruce has also been involved in peer review for medical journals and is currently on the Australian Rheumatology Association Clinical Resources Committee.

Dr Bruce has been involved in medical education. They are passionate about music and have previously completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne.
