Dr Rahman obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and has since achieved prestigious postgraduate qualifications. He is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
