Dr Abigail Fox

Dr Abigail Fox is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. Originally from New Zealand, she is committed to delivering high-quality medical services, focusing on patient well-being and preventative health. Her clinical approach is patient-centred, ensuring that individuals receive personalised attention and tailored treatment plans to meet their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Fox has an extensive academic background, having completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland in 2005, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge in 2011. She then obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney in 2016. To further her expertise, she completed the Sydney Child Health Programme through the University of Sydney in 2018. Dr Fox is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, having achieved her fellowship in 2021, and is an active member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

With a strong foundation in general medicine, Dr Fox has developed a particular interest in skin cancer medicine and paediatric care. Through her membership with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, she has undertaken advanced training to provide thorough skin assessments and manage skin-related conditions. Her additional training in child health allows her to support families and address the diverse medical needs of younger patients. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors with her family.
