Yarra Vascular Surgeons

Yarra Vascular Surgeons, located in Melbourne, was established with the understanding that a collaborative approach to vascular surgery care is more effective than individual private practices. As the first vascular surgery group practice in Melbourne, their aim is to provide continuous and comprehensive care to patients using a multidisciplinary approach based on collaboration.

The team at Yarra Vascular Surgeons consists of highly trained vascular and endovascular specialists with particular focus on holistic treatment. All surgeons at the practice trained in Melbourne, as well as overseas and interstate. The team are visiting specialists, meaning they work collaboratively and maintain regular tertiary appointments at some of Melbourne’s leading teaching hospitals, such as The Northern Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. The team pride themselves on providing evidence-based, comprehensive vascular services with excellent communication. All three surgeons, Dr Rangarajan, Dr Bayat and Dr Goh, are fellows of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and members of the Australasian New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery.

The team sees patients with a wide range of vascular conditions, including varicose veins, arterial thrombosis, venous thrombosis, stroke, aneurysm and diabetic foot ulcer. They are well trained in a number of surgical procedures to manage and treat these conditions, including: minimally invasive endovascular surgery, open vascular surgery, spider vein treatment and varicose vein treatment.
