St Ives Doctors

Dr Peter Hopkins opened a surgery in St Ives in 1983. Some of the children he saw in those first years now bring their own children to us, and a few bring their grandchildren.

The practice has been locally owned and independent for every one of those years. It has never been sold to a corporate group. In 2026 we took a new name, St Ives Doctors, and moved a few minutes down Mona Vale Road to rooms designed around how care is delivered today: more consulting rooms, a procedure room, an infusion pod, natural light, and space for the services our patients most often need nearby.

We made the move to create more room for the care our community needs, while protecting the continuity and long-term relationships that have always shaped the practice.
