Far North Renal Service

Far North Renal Service (FNRS) is a dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing comprehensive kidney care to the Cairns community and surrounding regions. They offer a range of services to support patients with all stages of kidney disease, from early detection and management to dialysis and transplantation.

FNRS understands the unique challenges faced by individuals with kidney disease and strives to provide a patient-centered approach to care. • Dialysis: For patients with advanced kidney disease, FNRS offers both in-centre and home dialysis options. They also provide training and support to help patients manage their dialysis at home.
• Transplantation: FNRS works closely with the transplant team at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital to provide pre- and post-transplant care for patients.
