تخرجت الدكتورة شيرين رأفت من كلية الطب بجامعة قناة السويس، مصر، عام 2005. اكتسبت خبرة واسعة كطبيبة مقيمة في الطب الباطني في مستشفى الأحرار التعليمي، ومستشفى السويس للتأمين، ومستشفى الساحل التعليمي في القاهرة، حيث تعاملت مع عدد كبير من المرضى في وحدات الطوارئ والإقامة والعناية المركزة. مع أكثر من 10 سنوات من الخبرة في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، عملت الدكتورة رأفت في عيادات متعددة التخصصات كطبيبة عامة وكانت تابعة لمستشفى راشد في الأقسام الطبية وأمراض القلب.
وهي عضو في الكلية الملكية للأطباء في المملكة المتحدة (MRCP UK) منذ عام 2014 وتدربت في الزمالة المصرية للطب الباطني من عام 2017 إلى عام 2019. تتخصص الدكتورة رأفت في إدارة ارتفاع ضغط الدم ومرض السكري من النوع 2 وفرط شحميات الدم وأمراض الصدر واضطرابات الجهاز الهضمي والأمراض المعدية وطب الشيخوخة وأنواع مختلفة من فقر الدم وأمراض الغدة الدرقية وحالات الطوارئ.
