الدكتور إتش سانجاي بهات هو استشاري أول في جراحة المسالك البولية في مستشفى الزهراء بدبي. وهو حاصل على بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة وماجستير في الجراحة العامة من معهد جيبمر، بونديشيري، حيث حصل على ميداليات أفضل خريج شامل وميدالية بي. إس. سن الذهبية. وواصل دراسته لإكمال ماجستير جراحة في المسالك البولية في كلية الطب المسيحية، فيلور، وحصل لاحقًا على زمالة الكلية الملكية للجراحين (إدنبرة) والبورد الوطني للأطباء (جراحة).
شغل الدكتور بهات العديد من المناصب الأكاديمية والقيادية السريرية العليا. عمل كأستاذ ورئيس قسم المسالك البولية قبل أن ينتقل إلى مستشفى صن رايز، كيرالا في عام 2009. وفي عام 2014، أسس وترأس قسم المسالك البولية وزراعة الكلى في مستشفى راجاغيري. وعمل لاحقًا كطبيب مسالك بولية زائر في مستشفى ميدور 24×7 في دبي، قبل أن ينتقل بدوام كامل إلى دبي في عام 2019 كاستشاري في جراحة المسالك البولية.
بفضل خبرته الواسعة في جراحة المناظير البولية المتقدمة، والجراحة الداخلية للمسالك البولية (Endourology)، وجراحة المسالك البولية للأطفال والجراحة الترميمية، أجرى الدكتور بهات بعضًا من أكبر سلاسل استئصال الغدة الكظرية بالمنظار، واستخراج الكلى للزراعة، واستئصال البروستاتا الجذري بالمنظار في الهند. يُنسب إليه الريادة في عمليات استخراج الكلى اليمنى بالمنظار واستئصال الكلية الجزئي بالمنظار للأورام في الهند. وفي الإمارات العربية المتحدة، لا يزال من بين الجراحين القلائل الذين يجرون استئصال البروستاتا الجذري واستئصال الكلية الجزئي بالمنظار. وتمتد خبرته أيضًا إلى إعادة بناء مجرى البول، وتفتيت الحصوات عن طريق الجلد (PCNL)، وتنظير الكلى المرن عن طريق الإحليل (RIRS) وأورام المسالك البولية.
