After years of searching for a Dr that I felt comfortable with and trusted, I finally came across Dr Maya who has been my gynaecologist for a few years now. She has been with me through all stages of my journey, from contraception, through to pregnancy and delivery. I cannot recommend and rate her highly enough. As a person, I like to read up and research a lot, and in turn, as a patient, I like to ask a lot of questions; Dr Maya was very approachable and always welcomed my countless questions with reassurance and always the latest medical advise, I could clearly see that she took her continuous professional development seriously, and as a patient, this was very important to me. Dr Maya was always available, via phone and messaging, whenever I've needed her, and for this I am truly grateful as there were some moments where I needed urgent advise. Dr Maya is the reason I can proudly say that I had a positive birthing experience, I followed her advise solely, she was informative, experienced and thorough and ensured to keep a lighthearted mood during the most challenging moments. I especially enjoyed the 'non clinical, serious' atmosphere that you usually associate with childbirth, Dr Maya and team were friendly, funny and chatty, yet always professional. God Willing, I hope I can continue with Dr Maya for all of my pregnancies to come, as the bar has been set very high and I couldn't imagine going through it with anyone else. Thank you for everything.

Dr. Maya Alwan is the best gynaecologist. I had miscarriage in my home country before started seeing her, she helped me emotionally and physically, answered my countless questions. Now i have 3 amazing kids thanks to her and her follow up.
