My father was admitted in a very critical condition after spending nearly a month in intensive care. He had multiple serious complications, including kidney problems, fluid around the lungs and heart, and was later diagnosed with a life-threatening aortic aneurysm with bleeding. His condition was so complex that many of us feared the worst. When he was transferred to King's College Hospital, Dr. Babar and his team immediately took charge of the situation. After careful assessment, they performed a highly complex open-heart and aortic surgery that lasted approximately 9–11 hours.
