Very pleasant and everything was clear from pre operation to post operation follow up

I have been suffering from Acid reflux and hiatal hernia for over 26 years and have been taking Nexium 40 mg 3 times a day in addition to gaviscon and other supplements. I was told by many doctors in Canada, KSA, UAE that I am not a candidate for fundoplication surgery due to motility issue and have to continue taking these medication for ever. Dr. Ahmed went over my test result and history and was able to explain to me my situation in simple terms and recommended a fundoplication surgery in addition to fixing hiatal hernia issue. I’m almost 4 weeks after surgery and for the first time In 26 years, I have stopped the medication completely and been able to try foods or drinks that used to cause so much discomfort and acidity in the past even with the pills such as orange juice. There is a small change I have to get used to which is eating slowly, chewing properly and taking smaller bites. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Ahmed.
