تتمتع الدكتورة عظيم بخبرة واسعة، وتتخصص في إدارة حالات مثل مرض السكري، واضطرابات الغدة الدرقية، والسمنة، ونقص فيتامين د، وارتفاع ضغط الدم، والأمراض المعدية. تشمل رحلتها المهنية أدوارًا مهمة في مؤسسات مشهورة مثل مركز الكلى، ومستشفى بارك لين، ومستشفى فوجي فاونديشن، حيث ركزت على الطب الباطني والغدد الصماء. في عام 2013، انتقلت إلى دبي وعملت كمتخصصة في الطب الباطني في عيادات آيكير لمدة ثلاث سنوات تقريبًا.
