This Doctor was very helpful and approachable. He advised me of a new compress and eye drops to use. He also went the extra mile to photograph my eye which he did himself as there was nobody else available to do it. I would highly recommend this Doctor.

I met Mr shalchi today for the first time. He was very polite, informative and approachable. He took his time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. Dear Sir/Madam,I am a recent and truly grateful recipient of a new lens that was fitted after the removal of a cataract from my left eye,courtesy of the skills of the superb surgical team led by Dr Zaid Shalchi a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon based at the Prince Charles Eye Unit, King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 3DP, UK. Having been myopic all my life the resultant operation has given me vision in my left eye ,that can only be described as "BIONIC".That is no exaggeration in relation to my life-long experience with myopia and I have to say that everything about the results of the aforementioned operation have much more than exceeded expectation.When you can visualise things like the red,amber and green traffic lights over hundreds of yards -WITH ABSOLUTE CLARITY - this bears testimony to a combination of the advancements that have been made in the medical profession,not only regarding the equipment but the dexterity required by the surgical teams to be able to perform delicate operations such as the removal of cataracts and lens replacement all whilst the patient is fully cognizant of all that is going on throughout the entire operation.I was most impressed with the way that Dr Shalchi and his surgical team made me feel so relaxed before,during and after the operation and they are an absolute credit to their profession.The Rockstars of the NHS .Thank You,Thank You All.
