I suddenly lost my hearing in one ear and with Wayne’s help received a unilateral cochlear implant. Wayne is extremely professional and has been a very personable audiologist that goes above and beyond. From selecting the type of cochlear implant, the switch on process and subsequent mapping sessions, Wayne made the process as easy as possible. Wayne is also extremely knowledgeable, an expert in his field and someone that I would recommend to anyone who needed an audiologist.

Wayne has been assisting me with my cochlear implant mapping for a number of years now, since 2016. Initially Wayne assisted me when I was a unilateral user and he has continued his programming since I became a bilateral user in 2019. I honestly could not have found a better cochlear implant programmer! Wayne takes the time to understand and address my concerns and always goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that I leave each mapping session feeling confident. In addition, I have troubles with tinnitus when I have hearing tests and Wayne understands and knows how to handle this. I cannot recommend Wayne highly enough.

I found Mr Ellis to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was nervous about being assessed for a cochlear implant but Mr Ellis made me feel at ease straight away, explaining the tests and results clearly. He also demonstrated excellent deaf awareness, which cannot be said for many healthcare professionals! Highly recommended if you're having any problems with your hearing.
