Miss Tamzin Cuming is a consultant colorectal surgeon based at the Cleveland Clinic in London, where she specialises in anal cancer surveillance and anus and rectum surgery.

Her clinical interests are as follows:

• Anal Cancer
• Anal Fistula
• Anal Intraepithelial Neoplasia (AIN)
• Warts

Miss Cuming earned her medical degree in 1994 from the University of London. She underwent her initial surgical training in Brighton, followed by the North East Thames Training Programme. During this time, she developed an interest in high-resolution endoscopy following training at the National Unit at Homerton Hospital in East London. She went on to complete her certificate of completion of training, followed by a master's in surgical education from Imperial College. She later became a consultant surgeon at Homerton Hospital and began learning high-resolution anoscopy in 2013.

She now runs the national unit, the Homerton Anogenital Neoplasia Service.

Additionally, she is the vice president elect of the International Anal Neoplasia Society and the chair of the Women in Surgery Forum at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

She holds a number of professional memberships, including fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, member of the Association of Proctology of Great Britain and Ireland, and member of the International Anal Neoplasia Society.
