Professor Hisham Khalil is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon in the Nuffield Health Hospital, Plymouth and his NHS Practice is as a Consultant in the ENT Department, Derriford Hospital, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Professor Khalil completed his surgical training in North Wales and the South West of England. He also completed a Rhinology Fellowship in Fulda, Germany. He is a Principle Fellow of Advance Higher Education and a National Teaching Fellow. He research interests include Clinical Outcomes Research, Rhinosinusitis, Nasal obstruction, Sino-nasal Cancer, Service Improvement and Clinical Education Research.
