Mr Anjum Rashid is a dedicated consultant foot and ankle surgeon at Tees Valley hospital and Newcastle Clinic. He has expertise in all areas of foot and ankle surgery including primary and revision ankle replacement, arthroscopy, and small joint arthroscopy. He also treats bunions, foot and ankle arthritis, flat feet, and other foot and ankle deformities. His special interest is in managing foot and ankle sports injuries and minimally invasive surgery.

Mr Rashid gained his medical qualifications in1988 from Quaid-i-Azam Medical College. He has trained at some of the top and orthopaedic units in the UK which has allowed him to gain expertise in the use of state-of-the-art equipment the latest techniques in trauma and elective foot and ankle surgery. He uses a range of fixation materials in his surgery including plates, intramedullary nails, monolateral and circular fixators, artificial ligaments, and suture anchors. He is committed to keeping abreast of the latest techniques in his field and is also involved in teaching juniors.
