I am delighted with the result of my hip replacement operation that Mr Mudussar Abram Ahmed carried out. I arrived at hospital and the whole procedure was clearly explained to me.The day after the operation Mr Ahmed visited me on the ward to ask how I was and explained that the operation went well with no problems. My new hip has restored my mobility.

Dr. Ahmad had explained the entire pros and cons of the hip replacement during the pre assessment visit, his advice during that visit rested my fears about the surgery thus I was able to make an informed decision to go ahead with the operation. His reassurance on the morning of the surgery was comforting and set my mind at ease, the after surgery visit at his office again he answered the post surgery questions and concerns I had. This is the best medical decision I have made in my life. Mr Ahmed has an amazing ability to make you feel safe and reassured. My first encounter with Mr Ahmed was when I needed surgery for a bucket handle tear in my knee. Petrified at some of the potential complications post surgery that I had about, I was totally on the verge of backing out. Mr Ahmed took the time to listen to each and everyone one of my concerns and explain things to me in a way that made me feel completely comfortable. He also explained my options and their pros and cons. By the end of our conversation, I was actually looking forward to having the procedure. I really cannot thank Mr Ahmed enough. If it wasn’t for him I would not have had the surgery nor the mobility that I have today. My second encounter with Mr Ahmed was when I opted to see him for steroid injections in my knee. Once again I felt I was in completely safe hands and, thanks to him, am now pain free. Mr Ahmed’s genuine care and concern for his patients really shines through. He is an excellent listener, is very professional and has a bedside manner which makes you feel respected, able to ask questions and reassured. If anyone asked me to recommend an orthopaedic consultant, Mr Ahmed would be my absolute first choice.
