Mrs Shahid has changed my life, from experiencing constant pain and terrible periods, the attention to detail, skill and aftercare provided has been life changing. My hysterectomy was very successful and I am now living a much better life.

Mrs Shahid went over and above with my care. Even coming in when she wasn't at the hospital to personally check on me, this level of care put my mind at rest and confirmed I was in great hands. The level of care has been phenomenal.

My whole experience with Mrs Shahid has been above and beyond excellent! From my very first appointment with her I felt completely comfortable with explaining & asking any questions regarding my concerns with all my problems/pains I was experiencing. Mrs Shahid took great care at every appointment to explain and reassure me….i never felt this with any other consultant I had seen in the passed with my problems. Obviously, I had to have a big operation, but i had total confidence in Mrs Shahid doing it! So when the day of my operation arrived I had no worries at all. Mrs Shahid came to see me before my operation and once again spent time explaining things to me(what to expect after the operation etc)& answering any final questions I had. I was only in hospital 2 nights & in this time Mrs Shahid came and visited me(I was booked in for 4) My recovery has gone well after taking all Mrs Shahids advice. I was told that if I did have any worries once I was home, that I could contact her. I went to see Mrs Shahid two weeks after my op and all was good. Now six weeks after my op Iv just had my final examination and once again everything is great! Saying ‘thank you’ to Mrs Shahid ,when I left my final appointment with her, just doesn’t seem appropriate for someone who has literally changed my life! I’m no longer in pain and I just feel so well! I haven’t physically felt this good in years! I didn’t think it was possible! I would highly recommend any lady who has a gynaecology problem to see the most kind, clever & caring surgeon you could wish to meet…which to me, when I was feeling so poorly and low is a massive bonus! Mrs Shahid is an excellent consultant who has a wonderful and reassuring manner. I felt very at ease with her and was able to ask questions that were immediately and clearly answered. The examination and scans needed were clearly explained to me and I felt very at ease and reassured. The treatment options were clearly explained to me & I felt reassured that this was the very best solution for my particular gynaecological issue. I cannot recommend Mrs Shahid highly enough.
