Dr Hawkes is amazing! I am a 50 year old mixed race man and had been incredibly unhappy about my bulging lower eye bags for years, which made me look tired and old. I finally made the decision to get them done and after a great deal of research, I opted for transconjunctival (hidden incision) blepharoplasty and wanted the very best surgeon to complete the procedure. After searching the Internet for the best oculoplastic surgeon In London, I found Dr Hawkes. I liked the fact that Dr Hawkes only does eyes and as well as her private practice, also holds a senior NHS consultant position in a well regarded hospital. I was confident I had found the best surgeon, but after meeting Dr Hawkes, I knew I made the right decision. She is calm, confident and understandably incredibly knowledgeable. During the consultation, Dr Hawkes took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and recommended transconjunctival blepharoplasty with fat repositioning and explained the procedure in detail. She didn’t put any pressure on me to make a decision and actually advised that I take time to think about it and offered to see me again should I have any further questions. There was however no need and I booked the procedure the next day and had surgery 3 weeks later to coincide with some pre-booked leave. On the day of the procedure, Dr Hawkes once again took me through exactly what she was going to do and the procedure went smoothly. It is now one week since I had surgery and I have just returned from my first follow up appointment with Dr Hawkes, who unlike other surgeons I have read about, insists on doing these herself. All I can say is wow! The recovery was far quicker and easier than I thought it would be and the results have completely exceeded all of my expectations!!! The unsightly bags that made me look old and tired are completely gone. I have absolutely no scars and the results are completely natural. Even my partner has been blown away by the results and keeps commenting on how much younger I look! So for anyone contemplating blepharoplasty and who wants a fresh, natural, younger look (I keep being told I now look like I’m in my 30’s), I highly recommend Dr Hawkes. She is fantastic and I am so pleased I found her.

Elizabeth performed blepharoplasty and a brow lift on me 7 weeks ago at the Cadogan Clinic and I am absolutely thrilled with the results.
