Mrs Brincat is an accomplished Ophthalmologist with subspecialism in Oculoplastics, able to perform many general ophthalmic and oculoplastics procedures. She has experience encountering a wide variety of eye problems in her previous posts as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust and St. George's Hospital, London. Ms Brincat is currently Consultant Ophthalmologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester and regularly audits her surgical results, working to improve Ophthalmic medicine as well as deliver high-quality care with an empathetic and caring approach.

Mrs Brincat also has extensive experience in teaching, previously working as an assistant lecturer in the anatomy department of the University of Malta, and currently working as Ophthalmology Undergraduate Lead at University of Leicester Medical School. Additionally, Mrs Brincat regularly presents her medical research at national and international conferences and has a number of publications on various topics within her field.
