Mr Satya Kanth Pydah is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in joint arthritis, sports injury and trauma. He completed his MBBS in India in 2000 and a Master's degree in Orthopaedics in 2004. He later moved to the UK and completed both his basic and specialist orthopaedic training. He became a Trauma and Orthopaedic Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012.
He has several years of experience performing keyhole (arthroscopy), fracture fixation and joint replacement surgeries to treat joint pain, sports injuries and joint arthritis - particularly in the shoulder, elbow and upper limbs. Mr Pydah has contributed to more than 5000 surgeries throughout the duration of his career.
Mr Pydah's NHS practice is based in North Wales and currently sees patients privately at Spire Yale Hospital Wrexham, Spire Abergele and Spire Murrayfield Hospital Wirral.
Mr Pydah is also a trainer for higher surgical trainees and also instructs on the Advanced Trauma Life Support provider course.

Mr Pydah quickly understood the issues, reviewed and analysed test results in a clear and logical manner resulting in further scans in order to rule out potentially serious pathology. All communication was clear and helpful

Excellent, explained clearly what was wrong and the treatment. On time and very pleasant.

Fully explained options, came in on morning of operation to check everything and afterwards as well. Follow up appointment he went through everything and was able to show pictures of work prior and post operation. Recovery progressing well.

Mr Pydah is very personable, and very good at putting a patient at ease. His skills as a surgeon go without saying but it’s the explanations in laymen’s terms all the way through the process that really sealed the deal for me.

I cannot rate this surgeon too highly. He is extremely competent while able to relate to his patients' needs and concerns. He gave me all the time I needed and he made the experience the best it could be.I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other patients

Mr Pydah was very pleasant and friendly , he made me feel comfortable and confident . He explained the upcoming operation thoroughly and answered all my questions . Post operation he described my procedure in detail and gave me detailed expectations of my recovery.
